Secret Santa
Shhhhhh!
Secret
Santa!
Dear Parents,
To celebrate classroom community, our classroom has chosen
to participate in a Secret Santa gift exchange. This is a fun and exciting way
to bring holiday cheer into the classroom and provide opportunities to
encourage one another this holiday season.
Each student will draw a classmate’s name and will be responsible
for providing “random acts of kindness” for this friend leading up to Christmas
Break. In addition, a $10 gift will be wrapped and exchanged at our Christmas
party the last week of school. Please let me know ASAP if this will be a
problem. Remember, the gift should be wrapped and should only have the receiver’s
name on it. We are planning on having the gift exchange on Thursday, December 19th, 2019.
Please send me an email or encourage
your child to speak with me directly if there are any questions or concerns. Thank
you for your help with this special initiative. It is my hope that this
activity will be a valuable lesson in generosity and outward thinking for each
student involved.
As always, thank you for your ongoing
support.
Happy Holidays,
Sincerely,
Kerry Breau

2. Write the rule for each t-table. Each rule involves TWO operations.
d) 56, 49, 42, 35………
4. The same number is added in the pattern to get the next value. Below are the fourth, fifth and sixth terms in the pattern.
5. Use the explicit patterning rule to answer the questions below
Term Number= first term + ({term #-1} x common difference)
a)14, 17, 20, 23.....
find term 55th term
b) 21, 26, 31, 36.....

find the 12th term
6. Each question involves an operation (multiplication, division, addition and subtraction) between columns 1 and 2 and then an additional step. So these are multi step questions.
