I think that mrs.breau should pick partners because some people get left out of groups. And if mrs.breau were to pick partners we not make people feel bad because they were not included in the groups that people picked.
ReplyDeleteI don't think that Mrs.Breau should pick groups because than you can pick the people that you work well with and every one has that 1 person who they work well with and also everyone has at least 1 friend and if they don't than in our class they will be able to join any group because of how nice our class is.
ReplyDeleteI think that Mrs.breau should pick the groups because if we pick the groups chances are that we will pick our friends which means we will also fool around. Another reason is that your group may be all sharks and some of the groups will all be teddy bears or owls. Which means there is no shark in every group. Another reason is some people who are sharks may know all the answers and some of the teddy bears and owls may have a hard time so the sharks could help them if they are stuck on a question. Another reason is that she should pick the groups because you have a chance to work with somebody else. When you pick the groups chances are you are going to pick the same people every time which are probably going to be your friends. That's why I think Mrs.Breau should pick the groups!

i agree with Katie in the sense that if we choose our own groups we will most likely choose our friends and most of the time that leads to talking, fooling around and not getting their work done. i think that Mrs. Breau should pick the groups also because if there groups of 3 and your a group of 2 and someone wants to join you and you don't want them to that would hurt their feelings and someone may not end up with a group at the end and that would be embarrassing if you were that person. also because its good to work with different types of people to know who you work well with and get alone with. so that's why i think that it would be more fare and better if Mrs. Breau gets to choose the groups.
ReplyDeletei could vote either way but i think that Mrs Breau should pick groups because if we pick our our groups then we will most likely pick our friends so then we will porbally goof around and we will not get our work done.and to argue to what Daniel said you say that you will pick a friend that you will work well with but you will probally because then you get thoughts that don't make you feel good. thats why i think that the teacher should pick groups in most acitivitys

my computer glitched so here is the rest.....
ReplyDeleteto add on to katie's answer mrs breau picks groups for a reason so she can put certain leaderships with each other. also she puts you with people that can help you with your strengths and weaknesses .on the 3rd line from the bottom in my first answer it said probally then thats were it cut off so heree is after probally pick someone that you will goof around withand you wont get your work done.here is the rest from before the because in my first post. to add on to ashleys say if a teacher say to grab a partner and everyone has a partner but you you wont be happy. youm wont be included
also to add on to camryn if we pick our own groups we will not be able to use our time wisely because we are goofing around.
ReplyDeleteI think Mrs breau should pick our groups because like most people said you will good of and most likely not do as much than if Mrs breau picked. And we don't want to make people feel excluded that they weren't part of a group. And it also helps you develop comuntcation skill for different types of people you will have to work with at some point
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, Mrs. Breau should pick our groups because of the fact that it would probably lead to silliness. This could disrupt other groups that are on task and trying to work. I get that with a chosen partner that you might be a little out of your comfort zone, but it's a good way to learn to work with different people. For some people it could be difficult when picking your own groups because they might be left out. When Mrs. Breau picks our groups nobody will be left out. Adding on to the fact that you would get off task if you were partnering yourselves up, you wouldn't get as much work done because your choosing to be disruptive over being productive. - Sarah
ReplyDeleteplease don't put us THAT far out of our comfort zones :)
Deletebut what about if your partner DOSE NOT DO ANY WORK but if mrs.breau dose pick the groups no one will be left out
Deleteso i'm in the middle sides
DeleteI have arguments for both sides of this debate topic. On one hand, I think that Mrs.Breau should pick our groups for us because she can mix up the people in the groups which forces us to work with people we wouldn't usually choose to work with. Like Sarah said, being pushed outside of our comfort zone can help us learn to work with different people and when we get older this will be a good quality to have. On the other hand, after being in school together for so long, we know who we can and cannot work well with. This information can help us make good decisions and if we are responsible, it will give us a chance to get our jobs done faster and better.
