Media Assignment
You and
your partner/team have been given a task of inventing and marketing a product.
You must identify who the “Target Audience” is and try to persuade them into
wanting this new product. We have gone over many different advertising strategies
and you must incorporate them into your ad campaign.
Checklist:
You
must come up with a product name and a mock product
You
must identify your target audience for each mode of advertisement. You must
create a least two modes of advertisement. Each mode must incorporate at least
three strategies talked about in class.

you and your team will create a visually appealing ad through a poster that

Commercial- you and your team will create a commercial that incorporates

Family Fun- Many commercials
show parents enjoying their children's fun as if the toy will bring more family
togetherness.
Excitement- Watch the
expressions on children's faces
Star Power- Sports heroes, movie stars, and teenage heart throbs tell our children what to eat and what to wear
Ideal Kids- The kids in commercials are often a little older and a little more perfect than the target audience of the ad
