Weekly Update

Here is a quick update on the upcoming week:

Literacy-

Writing-We are working on personal recounts - students have drafted and are working on a good copy of 
their first recount - We will planning our second one this week

Reading- We will be working on summaries - We also be starting to look at the Answer Prove Explain
 format when answering a question

Math- We are working on factoring and exploring prime and composite numbers

- Later this week, we will be starting to explore smaller numbers (to thousandths)

Science- Students have had a couple of work periods for their research projects

-On Tuesday we will be playing the "Game of Life"

AGENDA ITEMS:

Tuesday- Dress comfortable we will be outside for the whole middle block

Thursday-PICTURE DAY

Friday- Terry Fox Run/ Character assembly
