Healthy Eating Unit
Follow-Up Assignment: Master Chef Junior
As part of our Healthy Eating Unit, the grade 6 students
have been asked to create a menu that includes one breakfast meal, one lunch
meal, one dinner meal and one snack. As an extension of creating the menu, they
will also be asked to cook or at least helping prepare one of the meals on
their menu for your family! The meal can be modified in any way (ie. if the
menu calls for raspberries and you do not have raspberries, please feel free to
replace them with anything you wish). Students are asked to be an active part
of the preparation, cooking and cleaning up process. You can assist them in any
way that you see fit. They have been told to take into consideration any
dietary needs or restrictions, and to make the meal as healthy as they possibly
can. Please take a picture of final dish :)
