3. There are 24 pens in a box. There are k blue pens and 13 orange red pens. Use an equation to solve for k.


 4. When Abby and Hayden visit another country they find two types of coins that  are used there. One with an S on it and with a P on it. Abby has 6 S coins and Hayden has 1 S coin + 9 P coins. If Abby has a total value of $30.00 and Hayden has a value of $ 32.00. What is the value of each coin?
